A site is ready when a visitor can understand the offer and complete the intended next step, and the business can operate and recover it. Tick these items only after checking the real site.

What “ready” means
A completed checklist is a record of what you checked, not a security, legal or accessibility certification. Use it to expose missing work before launch. Where your site handles payments, sensitive information or a complex service, add the appropriate specialist review.
Keep the scope small enough that you can inspect every page. A carefully verified five-page site gives you a more dependable start than a large collection of incomplete sections.
Save the budget and access handover in the launch kit. Once the site is live, keep a log of inquiries and recurring questions. Use that evidence to choose the next improvement.
